In this Fan Fic, two characters from the Harry Potter series enter into a forbidden love. The Slytherin Prince falls in love with the Gryffindor Princess, a love no one would have thought would have happened.
This fanfic is derived from the Harry Potter series. Harry Potter is a series of seven fantasy novels which follow the adventures of Harry Potter and his two friends Ron Weasely and Hermione Granger, all of whom which are students at Hogwarts, School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The main story arc concerns Harry's quest to overcome the Dark wizard Lord Voldemort, whose aims are to become immortal, conquer the wizarding world, subjugate non-magical people, and destroy all those who stand in his way, especially Harry Potter.

This Fan Fic is based on one of the characters in a novel written by well-known author J. R. R. Tolkien, called The Hobbit. It is a fantasy novel and a children's book which is based on a character called Bilbo happens to stumble up on Gollum's precious belonging, the ring in which the Hobbit Bilbo had stumbled upon. From then on Gollum became of the important characters in the book.
I found this Fan fic interesting because usually people would focus on the main character, in this case it would be Bilbo Baggins the Hobbit from the Shire, but with this fan fic it focuses on a supporting character.
This fan fic is based on 'Twilight' which is a series of four vampire-themed fantasy romance novels. The series covers the life of Isabella Swan a teenage girl who moves to Forks, Washington and falls in love with a 104-year old vampire by the name of Edward Cullen.
I chose this particular fan fic because it is different. In this fan fic 'Royce' who is usually the bad guy is now the good guy and works in the hospital. While working at the hospital he is present when an unknown patient is brought in. They run blood tests on her and according to the results the victims blood matches Royce, who is a vampire, and also Renee and Charlie, who are both Bella's parents. This adds a nice little twist to the story.

Rent is a Rock Musical which was based on Giacomo Puccini's opera La boheme. It is based on the lives of a group of impoverished young artists and musicians struggling to survive and create in New York's lower east side.
This fan fic is derived from the musical, Rent. I chose this fan fic as I find it interesting that the writer chose to re-write a scene from the musical. It is a nice little scene involving the 'murder' of a 'family member' in which this case is a dog.

My fifth fan link is based on Save The Last Dance, a movie which was released in 2001 based on a dancer named Sarah, a promising dancer who is hoping to be admitted to study at Juilliard School. In this fan fic, the writer writes about a student named Sarah who is ballet dancer who notices that there is something terribly wrong with her friend. She then realizes that it is worse than she feared. One of her fellow students, Ellie, who is always being put down by another fellow student is struggling. Sarah knows that she has to do something to help her.
